Storr Creates Mutual Solutions for Two Local Offices
Raleigh, NC — Expeditors International (NASDAQ: EXPD ) office in the RTP and Driver Rehabilitation Services of NC (DRS) found solutions to their workspace challenges through their mutual partner Storr Office Environments, saving a public company significant money and time while reducing environmental impact and helping a small woman-owned company through tough economic times.
“As a company, we use environmentally responsible practices to meet our clients’ needs,” said Matt Littleton, District Manager of Expeditors International. “When it was time to replace the office furniture in our RTP location, Storr brought to us cost-effective solutions that supported our environmental focus. We purchased new office furniture with a rich green story and are thrilled with the results. But then we were faced with what to do with our existing furniture. We didn’t want to pay to move and store it. How do we make sure we keep it out of a landfill? So we turned to Storr.”
Storr connected Expeditors to a service organization in the area looking for office furniture for their workspace: Driver Rehabilitation Services. As a local company that helps to teach people with all kinds of disabilities how to drive, they needed a workspace that would attract and retain bright talent and serve their growing operation.
