Well Dot, Inc. (Well) had a vision: a workspace that blends history with innovation—a place that fosters collaboration, energizes employees, and adapts to their evolving needs. To make that vision a reality, they partnered with Storr.

Well’s headquarters in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is housed in a historic building, offering character and charm but also presenting unique design challenges. Renovating a historic space while balancing old and new isn’t easy—but when done right, it can be incredible. Well needed a partner who could help them transform the space into an environment that reflects their brand values and empowers employees.

Our team worked closely with architectural partner, Linton Architects, immersing ourselves in the daily routines of Well’s team to fully understand their workflow and operational needs. By observing how employees collaborated, utilized spaces, and navigated their workday, we gathered valuable insights that informed our design concept. This thoughtful approach allowed us to develop a solution that aligned with Well’s culture, supported productivity, and enhanced overall comfort.

By combining Well’s culture with strategic furniture selections, we created a vibrant, flexible workplace designed to support their growing team. From private offices to open collaboration zones, each area was tailored to enhance teamwork while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Thoughtful details like ergonomic seating, versatile meeting spaces, and intentional material choices ensured the space would remain functional and inspiring for years to come.
