Brian contributes a tenure of industry experience to the Education team. In addition to his seven years with Storr, Brian has an additional 22 years experience providing interior environments that support client needs in a range of industries spanning Corporate & Government, Education and Healthcare environments. Whether it’s a work, learning or healing space, Brian is passionate about co-creating spaces that support students, faculty and administration. “I enjoy seeing the environments we collaborate with our clients to design – used by students to support their learning outcomes.”
Jessica’s education in social work and career experience as EC and preschool teacher give her special insight into the experience of both teachers and a wide range of student experiences. She sees education as a pathway toward creating a compassionate and equitable society. “I am a strong advocate for acceptance of all learners and I want to help school leaders hold healing and challenging spaces for their students and educators.”
Alyssa combines 10 years of design experience at Storr with her previous management background. She loves being part of a team that helps each room or space turn into an experience. Her dedication to thoughtful design shows in every project she does. “I am passionate about inclusive design that leaves a lasting impression.”
Marisa discovered her passion for commercial design as an intern at Storr, four years ago. That passion has sparked a career creating spaces where students can grow and learn. For Marisa, educational design represents more than just furniture or creating space to work; these are moments where students learn how they work best and experience growth and development. “To know that something I made helped a student learn is the biggest reward I could ever receive.”
Kayli holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design/architecture and has been with Storr for two years. She loves having the opportunity to positively impact learning experiences for students. Kayli recognizes that there are certain aspects of education projects that are similar, but each has unique needs that must be met to be successful. For Kayli, it’s both fun and challenging figuring out how to apply the team’s knowledge and resources to create an inspiring space based on the customer’s needs. “The best part is seeing it all come together!”
Kendall has been with Storr for 10 years. She’s worked as an interior designer specializing in education since finishing college. “I love creating inspiring spaces that support the wellbeing of students and faculty.”
