Project Highlight: Smart Wires: Durham, NC

Project Scope

Scope of Work: Smart Wires, a global power technology company, relocated their US Headquarters from California to RTP as they continued to expand their workforce to support more electric utilities across the country. RTP’s skilled workforce and well-established business community helped make North Carolina the ideal location to support their corporate objectives. Smart Wires chose Storr as their furniture partner for this state-of-the-art research and development facility, testing and validation labs and general office spaces. Storr’s team worked closely with the Little Architecture and Design team as well as the JLL Project management team to meet Smart Wire’s aesthetic needs, budget and timeline. The result is an innovative space that provides the Smart Wire team members the spaces for individual focus work, group collaboration, continuous learning, and team socialization as they continue to grow their team in RTP.
