Storr Celebration Getaway Details:
Eligibility
Full-Time, Reduced Full-Time, and Part-Time Team Members are invited to join Storr as guests of the Biltmore. Part-Time Team Members must be employed at Storr for at least 24-months from November 17, 2021. All registered Storr Team Members may invite one guest to accompany them for the weekend. All guests must be at least 21 years old to attend. All Full-Time, Reduced Full-Time, and Part-Time Team Members in good standing who are employed on November 17, 2021 are eligible. Team Members who have received a PIP in the three months prior or received a PIP at any time before the trip will not be eligible.
Travel to Asheville
Storr will provide 4 hours of PTO to all Team Members traveling to Asheville beginning at 12:00pm on Friday, May 13, 2022. All Team Members will be responsible for their own travel to and from, with no mileage reimbursement provided by Storr.
Storr Check-In
Team Members are required to check-in with Storr upon arrival to the Village Hotel. Storr will have a table in the lobby available Friday 4:00PM– 6:30PM and Saturday 8:00AM – 9:00AM. During these times Team Members need to register with Storr and sign in with a Storr TM. If you fail to register with Storr during one of these times, you will not get credit for attending the trip and will be asked to repay the $300.
Rooms
Rooms have been reserved for Storr Guests from Friday, May 13, 2022 – Sunday, May 15, 2022. Check-in begins at 4:00pm. Please see “Storr Check-In” above for details regarding check-in. The hotel check-out time is 11:00am. All Team Members and their guests need to check out of the hotel at this time, but you are welcome to Stay on the Property as a guest of the Estate to enjoy the day.
Rooms will be available on a first-come basis. Storr will pay the room and tax charges covering the two nights (May 13th and May 14th) for all eligible Team Members. Team Members will be required to place a personal credit card on file at the time of check-in for incidentals. If two Storr Full-Time Team Members (same-sex) wish to share a room, Storr will provide each Team Member a $100.
Rooms cannot be guaranteed after December 17th. Rooms will be subject to availability.
Room Cancellations
Team Members can cancel room reservations before February 1st without a penalty. Rooms canceled for any Team Member after February 1st will result in a $100 per night penalty charge payable through payroll deductions.
Storr Required Activities
All Team Members and their guests attending the Storr Celebrate Getaway will be required to participate in the Storr Dinner on Saturday, May 14th from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. Attendance is mandatory.
Biltmore Activities
Reservations can be made by phone directly with the Biltmore®. Payment will be required at the time of reservation. All refunds are available if canceled 30-days prior to check-in. Money provided by Storr can be used to pay for Biltmore activities, dining, shopping, etc.
Dress Code
Storr guests will be dining at Deer Park North Saturday evening. For Deer Park North, dinner dress attire is required. For men: collared shirt, dress coat, and slacks or suit with tie optional. For women: cocktail dress, dress slacks, and blouse. No jeans are allowed at Deer Park North.
All other estate restaurants recommend resort-casual apparel. No jeans are allowed at Deer Park North or in dining facilities at The Inn on Biltmore Estate.
Parking
All Team Members upon arrival will receive a dashboard permit for the duration of their stay on the property.
Shuttle Service
While a guest on the property, you will have the ability to use the Estate Shuttle to get from point to point around the Estate. Shuttles move about the property daily from 9:00am – 6:00pm with limited stops to the Hotels, Winery, and Antler Hill Village from 6:00pm. – 12:00pm. Shuttles are currently limited due to covid; however, the Estate hopes to be running at full capacity in May 2022.

Friday Evening/Saturday Day
There will be live music in the Village Courtyard Friday evening, which is just steps away from the hotel. The Estate offers plenty of restaurants, but reservations are strongly recommended. Downtown Asheville is just a few short miles away and offers plenty of dining options too; however, reservations are strongly recommended. Saturday morning check-in will be available to Team Members who weren’t able to check-in Friday night. This will be your last chance to check-in. The Estate and surrounding area have a wealth of options to keep you and your guest busy. If you haven’t already, check out the TV screens or click on this link to look at some options.
Face Masks
Some indoor locations on the Estate may require a mask as well as some locations in downtown Asheville. Team Members are encouraged to bring a mask in their suitcases just in case.
Receipts
Be sure to save your receipts to submit an expense report after the trip to avoid $300 as taxable income.
Pre-Purchased Biltmore House Tickets
Team Members who purchased House Tickets at the Storr discounted price may pick up their tickets from Colleen, Sue or Megan beginning on May 2nd. Greensboro Team Members will get them from Justin Smith.
Cash/Debit/Credit Cards
There are some locations on the Estate that do not accept cash. Team Members are encouraged to bring a debit or credit card while walking around the Estate to use for incidentals
